Bullfrog Blackwork Embroidery Pattern Download

A colourful modern hand embroidery pattern that blends blackwork embroidery stitches and outline stitches into a bullfrog PDF pattern download. A 3-colour design intended to be worked on 14-count Aida cloth with DMC embroidery thread. Portrait of a handsome male frog (Lithobates catesbeianus) spotted in the lakes of central Ontario.

- instructions include supporting images

- list of supplies and recommended DMC thread colours 

- optional extra tips and the pattern PDF includes optional extra tips for washing, ironing, mounting on foamboard for framing at either 5" x 7" or 8" x 10" size (alternately the design can be fit into a 6" embroidery hoop).

Suitable for a confident beginner with a basic ability to follow a counted embroidery (or cross-stitch) chart, or an intermediate embroiderer. This pattern also includes satin stitch for the frog eyes.
